Falkland Islands shipping date revision
 

 

The schedule of shipping date for the servcie to the Falkland Islands has been revised following changes to the published schedule.

Delays with transshipment containers V110
 

 

We have just received the following notification from the shipping agents on St Helena, this affects goods shipped on v110, which was due to arrive on the 5th February 2008, the conatiners are now scheduled to arrive on or about 28th February.
"Please be advised that due to adverse weather conditions in Capetown the transhipment vessel Safmarine Nokwande is unable to secure a berth and the Master of the vessel has decided to call at Capetown on his return from Port Elizabeth and Durban.
As a result it is regretted that the  UK cargo which was destined for St Helena on this call of the RMS St Helena will not be loaded until the next call of the RMS St Helena at Capetown, which is expected to  arrive in St Helena on or about the 28th February.
