We have just been advised by the shipping agents of changes to the shipping service via Cape Town due to continued congestion and berthing delays at Cape Town the carriers used from UK to Cape Town have withdrawn their first Southbound call at Cape Town until further notice. Unfortunately this has meant that the sailing from the UK on the 26th June will not connect with the RMS and has been cancelled. The next scheduled service via Cape Town will now be sailing on the 17th July arriving St Helena on the 22nd August. Our closing date for receiving cargo will be the 9th July.

We are currently examining the option of sending the planned shipment for V103 via Ascension and this would have an arrival date of the 5th August.

V105 closes 20th July arrives 10th September

V106 direct sailing form Portland no change.

V108 closes 15th October arrives 2nd December

V110 closes 26th November arrives 8th January 2008

We have just been advised of further changes to the MOD schedule (FIRS) and this includes a revision of he closing date for v705 it is now the 26th June and not the 29th June as announced last week.
