RJI offer a monthly consolidated container service to the Falkland Islands using both the MOD resupply vessel which calls via Ascension Island and the SAAS Line with the containers being transhipped through Rio Grande, Brazil. Both have a transit time of approximately 36 days from the containers leaving our warehouse in Bristol to be taken to Marchwood Dock, Southampton or Tilbury Dock if it is to go the SAAS route. RJI also offer a weekly airfreight service for the more urgent non-hazardous goods. The latest closing date for sea container shipment to the Falklands is shown below.
